Electric- show stopping- crossover- classical, lights and fun! Suzie G performing on her electric violin with live band and featuring the fabulous talents of Wes Taylor, guitar, Andrew Johnson, bass and trumpet and Steve Francis, drums and percussion.
Opening the night first up is Wes Taylor guitar maestro entertaining you with Latin and Jazz inspired melodies all performed to perfection and guaranteed to get the evening started. Wes’s show length is anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes.
Then enters Suzie G and her electric violin, playing a fusion of classical pop hits from BOND, WILD, Vanessa Mae and more. A high energy feature act with lashings of fun, sophistication and musical showmanship. Suzie’s show length is up to 30 minutes.
The "G Show" can also include choreographed lighting, curvy stage moves and two HOT male dancers.

Wes Taylor - Guitar/Arranger/Composer
Wes Taylor is one of Australia’s most versatile guitarists having played with every conceivable ensemble from symphony orchestras to country rock. Wes completed his bachelor of music at QUT in 1994 whilst a member of the all-star Warner Bros. Movie World Band.
Wes has performed with many well-known artists including; Tommy Emmanuel, Rob Guest, Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar-Daley, Gina Jeffries and Kamahl. He has recorded extensively with the ABC and his unique brand of playing has earned him a place on dozens of recordings for CD & TV soundtracks.
As well as all of this Wes has been the musical director for the Main Arena Spectacular Events at the Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Lismore and Sunshine Coast shows and the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2002 .
Wes also performs with Blackwood, The Fabulous Blues Boys, Flamenco Flamboyan, The Fabulous Wes Taylor Country and Western Trio, The Piazzolla Project and as a much sort after solo performer.
Wes is the musical genius behind the Suzie G Show with all arrangements and compositions going through him. Suzie enjoys woking with such a professional and accomplished musician and is looking foward to more collaboration in the future.
Andrew Johnson - Bass and Trumpet
Andrew graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 with a Bachelor of music, majoring in trumpet. Andrew is a versatile musician, in demand on both trumpet and bass and is at home playing many different styles.
He has backed many well-known artists including James Morrison, Jackie Love, Rob Guest, Caroline O'Connor, Tom Burlinson, Rhonda Birchmore, Debbie Byrne and Simon Gallagher. In the theatre, he has played in musicals such as 'Dusty', 'Shout', 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' and 'Glamalot'.
Andrew is a regular performer at local events, The Kangaroo Point Jazz Festival, River Festival, West End Festival, and South bank Seafood Festival. He has also performed with the Queensland Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras for numerous concerts, opera and ballet seasons, studio recordings and live broadcasts.
Steve Francis - Drums and Percussion
Steve's professional career began at age 15, when he began working professionally in the Quigley Moorhead Big Band performing throughout Queensland and New South Wales at jazz festivals, clubs, and corporate functions.
Steve has worked and recorded with artists such as Boogooloo, Richard Clapton, Lee Conway, Jackie Love, Simon Gallagher, Blackwood, Step it up, Ronnie Cristie, Brilliant Creatures, CSM, Swing Central, Glen Shorrock, Venetta Fields, Crissy Feros, Steve Grace, Adrian Ross, The Ten Tenors, Grace Knight and The Queensland Orchestra. He has worked in theatre and musicals and opened shows for acts such as Stevie Wonder, The Neville Brothers, Andrew Strong and the Commitments, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Ronnie Jordan, Kate Cerberano, Vibraphonic, Marcia Hines and DIG.
Recent festivals and public events that Steve has been involved with include the opening of the River Festival, The Belgian Beer Café, Seafood Festival (South bank) as well as Qld Orchestra Kids Concerts with Monica Trapega 2004/05/06, Qld Orchestra Classic Hits of the 60’s 70’s & 80’s, Norfolk Island Jazz Festival 2003, Woodford Folk Festival 2004, 2005, James Morrison 2005/06 Jane Rutter 2006 and Cate Cerbrano 2005/06. Steve has also performed at the Fiji 2000 International Celebration, NZ Parachute Music Festival, Maleny and Woodford festivals, Manley Jazz Festival, Magnetic Island and Norfolk Island Jazz festivals. Asian tours including Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
